The Falcons did extremely well in last weeks Ultimate Men's Challenge Tournament at Center Ice in Oaks PA.  The team finished 2-0-1 and in 2nd place in there division. There best game came against the Lehigh Valley Leafs, the eventual tournament winners, as they skated to a tough hard fought 4-4 tie. In game 1 the Falcons got off to a terrible start and by the half way mark of the 2nd period were down 5-2. However, the team really turned things around and fought hard to make there way back into the game and were able to tie things up at 5-5 with 8:31 remaining in the 3rd period.  It was Charlie Washko, the games hero, who scored the Falcons go a head goal, his 3rd of the game, with just :03 on the clock to give the Falcons the win. In game 2 it appeared as if the Falcons were in for a rough game as the Leafs took a 1-0 lead just :40 into the game. However, once again the Falcons battled back and took a suppressing 3-2 lead after 1 period on Goals by Dave Burdo, Steve Washko and Tim Newby. The  Leafs were able to tie the game at 3-3 mid way through the 2nd period and took a 4-3 lead 9:44 remaining in the 3rd. The Falcons were able to tie the game at 4-4 with Dave Burdo's 2nd goal of the game late in the 3rd. In game 3 the Falcons got them selves into a shootout but came out on top with a 11-8 victory. Unfortunately, both the Falcons and the Leafs went 2-0-1 but the Falcons lost the tie breaker and were not able to advance.
